Me and Daddies out in the Frozen Waterfall

Well, we sometimes go to hike in different places for a change.  Today we went to the waterfall - Buttermilk Falls.  It was more like Icicle Falls.  You can see the icicles.  Go to Daddy's blog to see more pictures of ice.

 Here I am.

My Big Stick Challenge

Well, I got this real big stick and I was carrying it just fine till my daddies decided to go through a thick bunch of trees.  Then things got tricky.  There were all these trees in the way.  Daddies kept shouting "Come on Benni" and I can't concentrate under pressure.  I had to leave my big stick behind.

I just know if I had more time I coulda figured it out...maybe I'll try again tomorrow.

Tracking Wild Animals in the Snow

I went tracking in the snow today, up in back of the house.  I think I tracked the coyote or maybe a fox.  I didn't give a care about the bunny tracks or the deer tracks, boring...but, well, I go for CANINES cuz they are invading MY Territory!

We walk up as far as the Alpaca Farm, but I never see alpacas cuz they live in the barn and in the corral next to the barn.  That is over the other side of the field.  Here is a movie:

Before the movie we walked up back, past daddy's trees and into the woods, then to the Alpaca Farm.

I got a good nose

Now I consider this MY Territory, even though Daddy says we are off the property.  We are lucky to have woods all around us, with trails.  When we don't go to doggie park, we just go out back.
OK, Now which way?
This way I think
Let me get in closer

Lousy Coon or something crossed up the Smells

Now I got a good trail

Winter Fun and New Snow

If it weren't for the doggie park, I'd have a boring winter.  We don't go on trips to Vermont very often and of course we can't go swimming at the beach.  But I have friends at the park, especilly my girlfriend Katja.  I talk about her all the time.

We have a great time running together.  She's my chick...but she would say I'm her pup.  She likes to be top dog.  I'don't mind.  The other day we met Rusty at the park.  Rusty is 6 months old and real feisty.  He loves to play with us big dogs.  Rusty and I were playing and having a good time, but jealous Katja kept butting in and getting me by my scruff and trying to get me down.

I didn't get pissed, because it was just in fun...I think.  But sometimes Katja is just so possessive.  What's a stud like me to do.  (I use the term figuratively, because as we all know, I'll never be a true stud.  Such is life.)

Here are some pictures of me, Katja and Rusty. (and Katja's mom, Dottie)

It's always good to get some rest at home after a good romp in the doggie park.

This morning we woke up to six inches of new snow.  I can't wait to get out to chase the snowblower and maybe go for a walk.  Here I am helping with the driveway...and don't make fun of my ears!  Catching snowballs is great fun!

Waiting for dad to throw the snowball
Almost...almost...Got it!
Here comes another one.
I'm a good snowball catcher!
