I Was In Carolina, Then Home, Then I Went To New York

Just got these pictures from Dad's computer. They were from South Carolina after I got back from the vet's. I am lounging with my bud, "Buddy". We like to play together. Then we get tired. Daddies said to take it easy after my operation. Geez. I was fine.

Then we drove to North Carolina.  Here I am at a restaurant, waiting for my water bowl to get filled.

Back home I was romping in the field at the other doggie park.

This weekend we went to New York to go for a walk.  I think I like the doggie park better.  I had to stay on a leash all day.  Bummer.

Curled Up On A Chair in the Sunroom

It's cold and yucky outside today so I found myself a nice comfy spot.
Life is good - even on yucky days.

A New Place to Go For a Walk

Daddies found a new place to go hiking.  It is an off leash doggie park and nature place.  I can run in the woods and we meet up with other doggies and I play with them and run around and have a good time.  Here are some pictures:

What a Trip - This is After

Well we drove back home from down south this week. It is a long time in the care with no play time. We stopped to see daddies friends and we went for some walks in the park on a leash. I hate leash walks, so I'm glad we don't live there, especially in an apartment where I can't just go out into my yard when I feel like it.

But I like the car.  You go to sleep and when you wake up its like magic - you're somewhere else.  This time I got home.  It is good to be home now.  My back yard and the woods are still there.
This morning, before I even got out of bed Daddy Frank said stay in bed.  Daddy Leon said "be still" and Daddy Frank snipped my 'tiches and pulled them out.  I think that big deal is over now.

I am getting used to the idea of not having gonads.  At least I can be sure that I won't make more puppies to rescue.  A dog's life goes on.

Today I'm a New Dog

Well, my daddies picked me up this morning. I was real glad to see them. I spent the day and the night there at this vet place. They drugged me and they said it was for my own good. Why did my daddies bring me there? And why did they let them do that to me?

On the way home I was still a little tired and not too sure what happened.

Life is full of surprises, some good, some not so good.  I guess that's what growing up is all about.  Stuff happens that you have no control over.  Sometimes you get to have an operation you don't really want.  Then you are changed forever.  I don't like growing up.
Good-Bye Vet and I Hope I Never Come Back Here
I'm not the same dog I was yesterday.  I can never be a puppy again.
Is this what depression feels like?
By the time I got back to grandma's I was doing OK.  I got to play with my friend Buddy again.  We went for a long ride to the big park by the lake.  I got to see a couple of other doggies.

I think it's time for a nap now.

Gosh, they didn't feed me last night and now we're up at the crack of dawn going somewhere - and I didn't even get BREAKFAST!
It looks like a nice place and there are doggies out back.  Maybe its a new doggie park.  But why didn't they give me BREAKFAST first?  Does that license plate say VET?  Are we going inside?  And what's with that "gonad" word again?

Gotta go, See you later.

XXX Rated Centerfold

Daddies say that this may be my last chance to be a centerfold in Playdog.  Now I don't know what that is, but I do play with other dogs at the park.  But daddy said to spread out for a photo op.  Then I heard them talking about an operation and to say good-bye to my gonads.  They keep using words I don't know and it makes me worry.  "Say good-bye to my gonads"?  "Operation"?  "Centerfold"?  What is going on.

Well, I hope we can go for a walk now.  I've got some sniffing' to do out there in the woods.
